Asbury Seminary is thrilled to offer on-campus housing accommodations for students with pets and certified emotional support animals! Both our North Maple Townhouses as well as Elizabeth House are animal-friendly options for families and single students.

Animal-Friendly Family Housing

In the Summer of 2015, we began to offer the North Maple townhouses, previously known as the Beeson townhouses, as an Animal-Friendly on-campus housing option. The North Maple townhouses are located right across the street from the center of campus and a short walk from downtown Wilmore. Each townhome is 3Bed/2Bath. There is an additional non-refundable animal deposit of $300 required, along with the refundable housing deposit. Please note that our policy allows one animal per home according to the restrictions and guidelines provided in the Animal Policy.

Cost:

  • $300 non-refundable animal deposit
  • $740 refundable housing deposit
  • $740/month rent

*Utilities (electric, water, & internet) are not included. Rent prices may increase year-to-year.

Included in each unit:

  • Kitchen furnished with all major appliances (stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, and garbage disposal)
  • Stacked electric washer & dryer
  • Carpet and linoleum tile floors throughout
  • Storage unit provided off the back porch
  • Community dumpsters maintained by the city of Wilmore

Animal-Friendly Single Housing

Asbury Seminary is pleased to offer Elizabeth House as animal-friendly housing for single students. Elizabeth house consists of 2Bed/2Bath apartments that can house 1-2 students. There is an additional non-refundable animal deposit of $300, along with a refundable housing deposit. Please note that our policy allows one animal per unit according to the restrictions and guidelines provided in the Animal Policy.

Cost:

  • $300 non-refundable animal deposit
  • $2,350/semester/student (with roommate)
  • $2,350/semester (full apartment; no roommate)

Single Housing Benefits:

  • Five meals per week in the Stevens-Pike Dining Hall
  • Utilities, WiFi, and cable
  • Private bedroom and bathroom
  • Debit/credit card operated laundry in residence hall
  • Close access to campus, academic buildings, Student Center and cafeteria

Apply for Animal-Friendly Housing

Every student who applies will be placed on the waiting list until the appropriate time for housing assignments and offers. To receive a placement on the waiting list, students must complete a 2 step process:

  1. Please review the Animal Policyand complete the Animal Housing Application
  2. Submit a $100 deposit – we accept exact cash or check in person, online payments through the student portal, or checks (made out to Asbury Seminary) mailed to the following address:
