Join the Asbury Seminary community on Thursday, October 8 from my 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for a day of prayer and fasting as we journey toward racial reconciliation within our hearts, our communities, our country and the world.

Download the Racial Reconciliation Prayer Primer that will guide you in specific prayer focuses by hour throughout the day. Join us as we pray together, in community, around the same topics each hour.

On October 8 from 12-1 p.m. Eastern Time, Dr. Jeffrey Frymire, Associate Professor of Homiletics, will lead the Seminary community in a time of focused prayer. You’re invited to join over Zoom.

As we join together, let us remember the words and promise found in the book of Joel:

“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.” Joel 2:12-13
