Asbury Seminary welcomes Christine Senak as the new Director of Communications. Christine comes to her new position with experience in marketing, media, and communications, as well as service in the Salvation Army as a Corps Officer and worship development coordinator. Her varied skills include brand and social media management, creative writing, and transmedia storytelling.

“I am delighted to welcome Christine Senak to the Advancement team,” Tammy Hogan, Vice President of Advancement, said. “She brings a wide variety of experience and knowledge to our Communication team that will help us grow our reputation as the flagship institution for historically Christian, Wesleyan theological education both here and around the world.”

Prior to coming to Asbury Seminary, Christine applied her talents at Asbury University in the areas of both admissions and strategic communications. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts – Communication Design from the Parsons New School for Design in New York City and a Master of Arts in Digital Storytelling from Asbury University.

Christine and her husband, Nicolas, reside in Nicholasville, Kentucky with their two sons, Jonah (5) and Caleb (3).

Christine says she seeks out opportunities to be creative and finds joy in helping others bring their artistic concepts into reality. She will be joining the Advancement Team effective November 7.
