We are celebrating 100 Years and the second highest enrollment in our history!

Asbury Seminary is observing its 100th birthday! Under our Centennial theme of “Thanking God for the past; Trusting God for the Future,” we have planned a series of events on campus and literally around the world to mark a century of service in God’s Kingdom. We ended our previous fiscal year praising God for the successful conclusion of our $100-million-dollar Hundredfold Campaign, positioning us for our second century of service. We kicked off our Centennial celebrations in early September with our Opening Convocation, the dedication of our Global Alumni Center on the Kentucky campus, and a Gala dinner for nearly 600 guests, in which we recounted God’s faithfulness to us through videos and live speakers. Going forward, special events are happening every month, including the Kingdom Conference in October and a visit from N. T. Wright in November. In 2023 we will hold a joint chapel service with Asbury University, out of which Asbury Seminary was born. Alumni meetings will take place in India and Singapore, as well as other locations where our alumni are serving around the globe.

As if all that weren’t enough, we are also celebrating our Fall enrollment numbers – the second-highest in our history! Some 1,776 students are enrolled at our Kentucky residential campus, our online platform, and at our five extension sites (Memphis, Tulsa, Colorado Springs, Orlando, and Tampa). They come from 49 states and 55 countries and represent 82 distinct denominations. We thank God that He is still faithful to call students to Asbury Seminary where our mission is to “prepare theologically educated, sanctified, Spirit-filled men and women to evangelize and to spread scriptural holiness throughout the world.”
