Dr. Craig Keener was the featured speaker at the 2014 Biblical Studies Lectures at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama this past Feb. 4-6. Past speakers have included folks like: N. T. Wright, Gordon Fee, D. A. Carson, and more. Dr. Keener is Professor of New Testament here at Asbury Seminary and author of over 17 books, four of which have won book awards in Christianity Today. His IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament (1993), which he is currently revising, has sold more than half a million copies.
