SACSCOC Reaffirms Asbury Theological Seminary Accreditation Through 2035
Wilmore, KY — January 13, 2026 — Asbury Theological Seminary is pleased to announce that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) has reaffirmed the Seminary’s accreditation through 2035. This milestone underscores Asbury Theological Seminary’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and institutional integrity.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges is recognized as a leader among the large accrediting bodies for its rigorous standards related to academic quality, governance, financial stability, and student support services.
Asbury Theological Seminary is accredited by SACSCOC to award degrees at the master’s and doctoral levels. In addition, the Seminary may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels, providing students with a range of academic pathways to prepare for ministry and leadership.
